maltreatment as physical, sexual, or psychological mistreatment or neglect
of a child or children, especially by a parent or other caregiver. It may

This Social Issue
touches the bottom of my heart, because Children are our Future. And our future
lives and life on the planet as a whole depends on the Generation that we
raise. It’s extremely important, so that people knew how to take care and raise
their children. It may seem pretty easy from the first glance if you consider
only violence as Child abuse, but unfortunately, many parents nowadays, think
of themselves as a “good families” and do not even notice that they abuse their
children in many others ways.
The most important part of this issue is understanding and recognizing different aspects of Child Maltreatment.
Physical abuse - is a nonaccidental physical injury of a child, ranging from minor bruisers to severe fractures or death. Inflicted by a parent, caregiver or other person who has responsibility over kids.
Neglect abuse - is a failure to provide basic needs for a child:
failure to provide necessary food or shelter, or lack of appropriate supervision; failure to provide necessary medical or mental health treatment; failure to educate a child or attend to special education needs and inattention to a child’s emotional needs, failure to provide psychological care.

In 2013, there were an estimated 62,428 children in out-of-home care across Canada.
I believe that we must be very careful when raising our kids and paying accurate attention to their emotions and feelings.
Child abuse is a serious problem. Most abused children suffer greater emotional than physical damage. An abused child may become depressed, may withdraw, think of suicide or become violent. An older child may get used to drugs or alcohol, try to run away or abuse others.

We must stop Child Neglect and raise children in a loving and caring environment, making them feel and believe that every person is unique and deserves happiness.
So, what can we really do about this problem?
"If you want to change the world, start with yourself" - Mahatma Gandhi
First of all, look at your relationships with your child or relative kid if you don't have your own. Do you get annoyed when he or she wants to play with you, do you scream and try to dictate a kid what to do, can you hit or slap a child? And then put yourself on the kid's place and think over - who or what is really the main reason of a child bad behavior? Maybe he just feels lack of attention and you're the one who wants to control a little human being. Kids are not robots, naturally they are playful, creative and positive. So, instead of being a dictator, change your attitude into a playfull manner and you'll definately see the difference.
Always be patient and remember, you are raising your future!
If you suspect a child is being abused or neglected by someone else, talk to a kid, talk to parents and if that doesn't help, call the police or your local child welfare agency.
And in my point of view, other major solution to prevent Child Maltreatment is to launch Events that will help in solving this issue by attracting public attention and providing educational programming to Child Abuse Issues.
Making events focusing on a Child Neglect problem we're doing our best to conduct programs that will educate parents and assure that kids are being raised safe and sound; and will grow up healthy, smart and emotionally sustainable personalities which will allow them to build a wealthy and productive society.
